Lomography launches the first instant camera with wide angle lens

Lomography has introduced a new instant camera with wide angle lens named Lomo’Instant Automat Glass Magellan. Aside from a multi-coated 38mm lens, the first of its kind, it also features aperture that’s pretty large for an instant camera. It goes up to f/4.5, which makes the lens ideal for action shots and shooting in low light conditions. According to Lomography, “the Lomo’Instant Automat Glass has everything you need to capture the world in crystal-clear, razor-sharp definition.”

The camera uses Fujifilm Instax Mini Film, and Lomography includes a set of accessories for taking different kinds of photos. But let us look at the specs:

  • Lens Focal Length: 38mm (21mm equivalent)
  • Shutter Speed: Bulb (maximum 30 seconds), 8s-1/250 (Auto Shooting Mode)

  • Film Ejection Mechanism: Motorized
  • Multiple Exposures: Unlimited
  • Built-in Flash Guide Number: 9(m)

In addition to the lens unique for this type of camera and a variety of options, Lomography also includes a lens cap that doubles as a remote shutter, a close-up attachment, a set of color gel filters for the flash and more.
