Update: This giveaway has now ended, jump to the end of the post to see if you won.

For this giveaway, we’ve partnered with Zhiyun to give away a Smooth-Q4 gimbal to a lucky winner.

We chose this gimbal because it is amazingly small, and it folds to fit in your pocket. This makes it perfect for those times when you travel or explore and just need something better than a selfie stick. All you have to do to enter this giveaway is to let us know what color you prefer for your gimbal (assuming you could get them in any color of the rainbow).

The giveaway ends on July 22nd!

Win a Smooth Q4 Gimbal by telling us one color

Zhiyun Smooth-Q4

The Smooth-Q4 Smartphone Gimbal Stabilizer from Zhiyun-Tech has the same improved design as the Smooth-Q4 and includes a magnetic fill light with a luminance of up to 520 lumens. The gimbal offers many of the same gimbal modes and recording functions as its predecessor, with the added benefit of a built-in extension rod for content creators who are on the move. The Smooth-Q4 can support smartphones up to 9.9 oz, and its companion Android/iOS smartphone app features a slew of templates, editing tools, and control functions to fulfill your creative vision. Switching between landscape and portrait modes is as easy as pressing a button, so you can transition from filming panoramic scenery to filming a TikTok.

The Zhiyun Smooth Q4 runs on a full charge for up to 15 hours. Obviously, the runtime will depend on the size of your phone, how well balanced it is and how hard the motors will have to work to keep it steady. Once it’s flat, it takes 2.5 hours to charge it back up to full again.

The Zhiyun Smooth Q4 also expands the SmartShooting functionality with an updated and dedicated ZY CAMI App and a new Smart Templates BTS (Behind The Scenes) feature. This feature allows the app to demonstrate to filmmakers how to move the gimbal in order to shoot the templates. And once you’ve shot it, you can compare your footage side-by-side with the template on a split-screen to see how well you did and let you see where you need to practice and improve.

Of course, you get all the usual filters, music, and special effects that you might already be used to if you’re an existing Smooth Q series user, as well as SmartFollow 3. This feature tracks your subject to make sure they’re always in the center of the frame. You also get Gesture Control (when using the Zhiyun app) to start shooting with simple movements. A “Live Stream Master” also provides facial tracking to make sure your gimbal always follows you as you move around in front of it.

Rules

  • The giveaway runs from now until 11:59pm July  22nd, 2022 when the winner will be chosen. Entries after this date will not be accepted.
  • You can enter from anywhere in the world (we’ll pick up shipping, you’ll cover duties and fees if there are any).
  • For the full rules, click the Terms and conditions on the contest widget.
  • You can send us chocolates, but it will not change your chances.

Winner

Update: This giveaway has now ended. Congrats to Orlando from PA, USA for winning a Smooth Q. A huge thank you to Zhiyun for sponsoring this giveaway.
