DxO Labs has announced a major update to its lineup of camera and lens modules, introducing support for 326 new pairings. This update brings the company’s total to more than 110,000 supported camera and lens combinations. So, if you’ve updated your gear with more recent pieces, you can rely on DxO to recognize it and work its magic.
The latest additions include gear from major brands such as Canon, Sony, Fujifilm, Nikon, and Hasselblad. Photographers using Canon’s new budget-friendly RF 45mm F1.2 lens, Sony’s recently launched FE 100mm F2.8 Macro GM, or Fujifilm’s GF 500mm telephoto lens will now benefit from DxO’s detailed corrections. Nikon’s new APS-C lenses and Meike’s 85mm Pro lens for Sony have also been added. Medium-format users gain support for the Hasselblad X2D II 100C, paired with the versatile XCD 35–100mm F2.8–4 lens.
Leica users are included in the update as well. DxO has profiled a selection of classic M and R series lenses, including models like the Elmarit-M 24mm F2.8 ASPH. and the Summicron-M 50mm F2. These lenses, some dating back decades, are now optimized for today’s digital workflows.
All DxO Modules are free to download with the latest versions of DxO PhotoLab, DxO PureRAW, DxO ViewPoint, and DxO FilmPack. Each Module is based on laboratory testing that maps how a specific camera and lens pairing performs across focal lengths, apertures, and focus distances. This allows DxO software to correct optical flaws such as distortion, vignetting, and chromatic aberration with high accuracy.
DxO has spent over 20 years developing this extensive Module library. According to the company, this ensures photographers can achieve the best image quality possible, whether they use the latest high-end gear or trusted older equipment.
You can view the full list of supported gear at DxO’s website.
