Today we are teaming up with Datacolor to share their Black Friday deals. Check them out below.

Black Friday offers are valid 11/22-11/28, so check them out and don’t let them slip.

Spyder5PRO Sale Price: $149

The Spyder5PRO usually sells for $189, so this is a $40 saving. Plus you’d be getting a 3-month Adobe CC Photography Plan Membership

Spyder5ELITE Sale Price: $199

The Spyder5ELITE usually sells for $279, so this is an $80 saving. Plus you’d be getting a 3-month Adobe CC Photography Plan Membership

If you are still sitting on the bench with this one, here is why you should jump on the color calibration wagon

Most displays come out of the box with the brightness set too high and with over saturated colors – plus they degrade over time. Your display is the window into your digital image, you need to be able to trust it.

Spyder5 calibrates your display to an industry color reference standard to ensure your colors are accurate and for better print matching. Your image editing will be easier and faster, you’ll spend less time in the “print-edit-print” cycle, and you’ll waste less ink and paper. Calibrating your display should be a no brainer!

Or in a bullet form:

  • Monitors display colors differently, so the colors that your monitor displays are not necessarily the same colors the client’s monitor displays. Having all monitors calibrated means that will output the same colors.
  • People see colors differently, This is a sad, but true, fact. You can’t trust your eyes when you need two colors to match. This can be critical with product photography or skin tones.
  • Your prints don’t match your display, if you want to get it right you have to use both a calibrated monitor and a  calibrated printer
  • Having a calibrated monitor will save you time(and money)  by reducing the number of proof rounds your client will ask.

This discounted price is only valid until the 28th.
