Many of the timelapses that we feature here are heavy on the drama. It feels like a breath of fresh air to feature a timelapse that is all about peace and serenity.
This beautiful timelapse was shot by Enrique Pacheco about a month ago in the sea salt of Uyuni, Bolivia.
This salt sea produced the most perfect reflections which Enrique uses cleverly to create perfectly symmetrical compositions and framing.
Here is the thing, unlike other reservoirs of water, the underlying layer of salt converts the lake to be mirror like (similarly to other highly salty lakes). This is combinations of the salt reflecting the sun and the high salinity killing any living thing that can murk the water.
The movie was shot on Sony’s A7 and A7s cameras with a Zeiss FE 16-35 f4 and a 70-200 f2.8 lenses.
Now sit back, turn the volume dial all the way up and hit play.
