instagram grid

Have you ever thought how cool it would be to customize your Instagram grid and rearrange the posts you’ve published so far? Well, you just might be able to do it soon. According to Alessandro Paluzzi’s recent discovery, Instagram is working on a customizable grid.

Alessandro Paluzzi is a reverse engineer who has already discovered some interesting novelties within Instagram, such as posting from your web browser. He recently figured out that Instagram is playing with a customizable grid, that lets you drag and drop your posts to rearrange them. Something like rearranging photos in your Facebook albums.

According to Engadget, Instagram hasn’t commented, so it’s not clear whether this new feature is going up for a test soon, or it will be launched worldwide. But as far as us photographers are concerned, it could be quite useful. It allows you to organize your grid by showing your most successful or your best photos first. You can also arrange them by specific concept or style, whichever you prefer. I believe we could make use of it, so I’d like to try it out, even only as a test.
