A week ago we shared a quick tip about using paper binders to organize your workstation. Today we supplement this tip with another quick tip about arranging cables in drawers.

Quick Tip: Using Toilet Paper Rolls As A Cable Organizers

Instructables user berserk shares a clever tip on using empty TP rolls as a divider system for cable management. Once you are done with a cable, put it away inside the in of a TP roll placed vertically in a drawer. A few of those and you will have a honeycomb of cable cells each with its own little baby cable.

If you can’t fill up an entire drawer, you can tape a few rolls together to keep em standing up straight.

P.S. and on the second drawer from the top, you can Arrange Your Photo Gear In A Cutlery Tray

yeah I tried and didn’t like the cardboard roles for cables or wrapping paper. a cable hanger (1st picture, from amazon) is much better for around the house/office; its cheap ($10) and straightens your cables. for travel, wrap cables without cable ties: spool the cable around your hand, then wrap it around itself a few times toward the end (2nd picture, from me). viola, fast, easy and no ugly tp roles!

So after I called you out on the paper binder tip, lifted from a seven-year old LifeHacker article, you come with this one.

Lifted, again, straight from a multiple years-old LifeHacker article. That mentions the paper binder tip THEY have done before.

    You are kidding, right?

Honestly, between this, “perfect selfies”, Upworthy-style headlines, and all of it embedded in the most hackneyed Wordpress theme I have seen in a long time, I think I’m done with following this site. I would like to say “no offense”, but I actually want you to take offense, ideally right before you take a look at what you were and what you have become, and maybe, just maybe, think over your direction.
