Toddler imitates his uncle’s modelling photos, and the results are hilarious [slightly NSFW]

We’ve featured plenty of stunning photo recreations so far. But this time, I’ve stumbled upon one such project that will make your day better. It’s about a cute toddler recreating model photos of his uncle. It all started as a family jok and turned into a project that’s cute and hilarious at the same time.

The stars of the project are the model Aristotle Polites and his little nephew Augie. The whole thing started pretty much accidentally, thanks to Aristotle’s older sister, Katina Behm. As she tells Huff Post, one day she couldn’t get Augie into his plaid button-up shirt and he looked adorably funny: “The image of him with the shirt undone and his bare chest exposed made me laugh because he looked like he belonged on the cover of a romance novel.” She figured out that her brother must have a photo like that somewhere, and indeed – he did. So she made the side-by-side comparison and sent it to their family, asking: “Who wore it better?”

The family, as you can guess, had positive reactions. Encouraged by that, Katina opened an Instagram page babyandthebody where she posts more photos like this. She’s teasing her brother a bit, but she says they share the same sense of humor, so he approves the project. He sometimes even posts the comparison photos himself. Frankly, I think every older sis teases her little bro from time to time (I’m sure my brother would agree).

Katina tells Huff Post that little Augie likes the project, too. In other words, he likes posing, and he gets excited when they take photos after long breaks. And he really looks like a little pro, just look at that attitude:

I must say this project really gave me lots of giggles. Little Augie is just too cute (Aristotle isn’t bad, either). And this seems like something my family would do, we have a similar sense of humor. Take a look at more photos below, and on Katina’s Instagram page, and decide for yourself: who wore it better? :)
