If you own a Sony E-mount camera and have any old Nikon F-mount lenses laying around the house or stored away in the attic, you might want to get them out and dust them off. The world’s first Nikon F-mount autofocus adapter made by Commlite for Sony E-mount has gone on sale.
Canon has received a to of love from adapter manufacturers in the past, but Nikon has gone seemingly unnoticed. That changes with Commlite’s newest adapter.
Now, any Nikon F-mount lens you own will be completely compatible with Sony E-mount cameras, such as the Sony α7S II and Sony α5100.
The adapter sells for ¥1860.00 (approximately US$290) and ships from China. Commlite does have an English store that looks nicer, but the adapter is not featured on that store yet. They also have some amazon presence, so we hope to see it coming to a two-days-shipping-from-a-browser-near-you soon.
