Sigma has announced the new 1.7.0 update of the Sigma Optimization Pro software. This software allows you to connect your computer to your Sigma lenses via the use of the mount-appropriate adapter for the system you use. The software allows you to tweak the settings of your lenses, including assigning function keys, autofocus calibration and other features as well as updating the firmware.
The latest update is primarily for L mount users, allowing compatibility for L mount DN lenses to assign functions to custom switches, customising the appearance of live view and customising the focus limiter range. For Mac users, it now also comes with native support for Apple’s M1 processors.
