Photoshop wizard fixes photos in the most literal way possible

If the name James (Jamie) Fridman rings a bell, that’s because his work has probably made you laugh out loud at least once. Jamie is not only a Photoshop wizard but also a man with a fantastic sense of humor. And when you bring those two together, you get hilarious Photoshop creations you’d probably never think of.

Jamie accepts submissions from his followers with requests to edit their photos. Like many other retouchers, right? The catch is that Jamie takes his clients’ requests very literally, so the work he sends back is quirky, unexpected, and downright hilarious.

I can’t even remember the first time I’ve seen one of Jamie’s creations, it’s been a while. But his creativity and sense of humor never cease to amaze me and occasionally make coffee run through my nose. Like this one:

People ask Jamie for all kinds of edits, and he does it his way. However, he will never edit your photo to make you fit society’s beauty standards and norms. So not all of Jamie’s creations will make you laugh. Some will even make you feel empowered and remind you that each of us is beautiful in our own way.

Speaking of empowerment, Jamie doesn’t only do it through his editing work. He also runs a foundation that supports children and the young affected by social issues. “We believe that every child should have an opportunity to be heard and supported regardless of their background, race or social status,” the Foundation statement reads. Its aim is to help children and young people to overcome difficulties through art, humor, and creativity. That’s precisely the approach I’ve always been following, so I’m happy to see that a foundation like this exists.

Take a look at more of Jamie’s creations below. And if you still don’t follow this creative and funny man, head over to his Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channel and give him a follow. You’ll also find plenty of his work and more about Jamie on his website. And if you’d like him to do one of your images, you can reach out to him via email.
