For all the space-loving guys out there, NASA has brought the Universe closer to us than ever. They wanted to provide the public with the fun, yet educational materials that will help us explore both the universe and our home planet. So, they launched the official GIPHY and Pinterest pages to bring the universe closer to the worldwide Internet community.
On their Pinterest page, they have created the pinboards full of new and historic images, videos and posters. You can browse and discover their images from different missions and projects concerning aeronautics, astrophysics, Earth science, human spaceflight and much more. They also share a set of materials for educators.

A small part of NASA’s Pinterest board
as for their GIPHY page, it currently has over 5000 animated gifs, displaying various parts of our universe, but also many of the important or fun NASA moments. You can see planetary and deep space gifs, rocket launches and some iconic moments in spaceflight history.
NASA reminds the community to check their accounts regularly, since they are constantly adding new material. Also, they encourage people to use and share the gifs. You can access them directly from the Twitter app – tap the GIF button in the Twitter tool bar, search for NASAGIF, and share away. Even if you’re not crazy about the space and science, you’ll see that there will still be something fun to share.
