Manfrotto has introduced the ONE Tripod, designed to meet the needs of today’s hybrid content creators. As creatives increasingly work across both photography and video, they need gear that can adapt to fast-paced workflows. The ONE Tripod brings together features from both stills and video tripod systems into a single, all-in-one design.
Designed for Flexibility
The ONE Tripod supports a wide range of shooting scenarios. Its carbon fiber construction keeps the overall weight to 6.6 lb while maintaining a maximum payload of 33 lb. It offers a working height from 6.9″ to 67.1″, making it suitable for anything from low-angle product shots to overhead perspectives. When collapsed, the tripod measures 27.7″, which enhances portability for travel or location work. It’s worth noting that you can also choose the aluminum option, which is slightly heavier — but significantly cheaper.
Each leg includes the XTEND locking mechanism, a single, oversized lever at the top of each leg that locks or unlocks all three sections simultaneously. This design simplifies setup and reduces time spent on adjustments.
Quick Head Swaps with XCHANGE
The integrated XCHANGE system allows users to quickly switch between tripod heads, sliders, and other gear. The system uses a twist-lock mechanism to secure compatible accessories. Manfrotto offers optional plates with a 3/8″-16 screw, which makes the system compatible with a wide range of third-party gear.
Features for Precision and Stability
The leveling column provides camera leveling through a lever control, typically found on video tripods. This feature eliminates the need to adjust individual legs when setting up on uneven surfaces. The Q90 mechanism allows the center column to pivot into a 90-degree horizontal position, enabling overhead and flat-lay shots.
The detachable center column section brings the tripod’s minimum working height down to 6.9″, which supports low-angle shooting or ground-level setups.
Build and Mounting Options
The tripod legs use a custom, non-cylindrical shape that increases resistance to flexing. You can remove the default rubber feet to expose metal spikes, which improves stability on uneven or soft terrain.
Manfrotto includes an Easy Link mounting point with anti-rotation guides. This mount supports accessories like articulating arms and lights, extending the tripod’s utility in video production environments.
