How To Casually Build A Motorized Slider Dolly

Vimeo member Stavros Koulis shares a great video and a set of instruction on how to make a cool little motorized skater dolly.

The interesting thing about this build, is that it does not have a body, it uses two 15mm rails to support an Arduino based miniE timelapse engine, a Manfrotto ball head and a stepper motor.
After reading the instructions on Nikon DSLR tips I think that the video is right on in making this build look like a breeze. OK, not a breeze, but definitely a great starters project.
