The Hasselblad Masters 2026 has just unveiled the 70 finalists. In addition to enjoying the stunning photos, you get to cast your vote, too! Over 108,000 images were submitted from photographers across more than 160 countries and territories. And the selection is exactly what you’d expect from one of the most respected photography contests.
Launched in 2001, the Hasselblad Masters has spent the past 25 years identifying and celebrating photographers who push photography forward. The jury looks for creativity, conceptual strength, and a fresh perspective on the world, along with technical perfection.
The seven categories this year span the full breadth of contemporary photography: Landscape, Portrait, Street, Architecture, Art, Wildlife, and the Project // 21 category. Together they form a portrait of where professional photography stands right now – and where it might be heading.
One finalist from each category will be named a Hasselblad Master and win a Hasselblad X2D II 100C camera, two XCD lenses of their choice, and a €5,000 cash prize. Each winner also earns a place in the Hasselblad Masters book and has their work featured across Hasselblad’s global channels.
The Part Where You Come In
Until June 1, 2026, you’re invited to vote for your preferred finalists in each category. That input feeds into the overall judging process alongside the deliberations of the Hasselblad Masters 2026 Grand Jury– a panel of internationally respected photographers, curators, editors, and industry experts.
We bring you selected photos from each category to show you how magnificent they are and prompt you to cast your vote. The full list of finalists and the voting page are live on the Hasselblad Masters 2026 website. Grab a drink, set aside a few minutes, enjoy these magnificent photos, and pick your favorites. The seven category winners will be announced on June 30, 2026.
