Computer engineer bride has bridal photo shoot with guy friends, and the results are hilarious

I believe it’s hard to beat clichés when it comes to wedding photography. But Brazilian photographer Fernando Duque and witty bride Rebeca Brantes nailed it with Rebeca’s bridal photo shoot. She is a computer engineer surrounded by guy friends, so she couldn’t gather a bunch of girlfriends for the shoot. But then she got an idea – why not make it with guys? After this fun idea, she found a great photographer, but also five great male friends who were more than willing to help her out. As a result, they came up with a series of images that will make your day.

As Rebeca told Bored Panda, the idea came one week before the wedding, while she was looking at some photos of brides with their girlfriends. They were all in robes, drinking champagne, laughing, getting beauty treatments – and she got a bit sad she didn’t have girlfriends for such a shoot. She is one of four girls in her computer engineering class, and the rest 56 students are guys, so she mainly hangs out with them. And then the idea came. According to the photos, the boys gladly accepted the idea, and it looks like they all had tons of fun. As Rebeca confirms, they really did. Take a look at their bridal photo session, and try not to put a smile on your face.

After Rebeca posted these photos on her Facebook, they soon became viral. Considering how amusing and unusual they are, it’s no wonder. But other than making us smile, I believe they show real friendship. Not every guy friend would put a pink robe, shave his legs and have it photographed and shared worldwide, right? :) I think this shows they are all easy-going and know how to have fun, and this will definitely stay a fantastic and amusing memory both for the bride and for the guys.

I believe the photographer also had fun doing this photoshoot, and if you want to see more of his work, make sure to visit his Instagram pages here and here. You can follow Rebeca on Instagram, too.
