Music licensing company, Artlist has expanded its collection to also offer sound effects. They don’t say exactly how many sound effects are currently in the library to start it off, although there are 25 categories of them including technology, city sounds, wildlife, business & office and a host of others that seem to scroll on forever.

The new high-quality sound effects are available as 96kHz 24-bit WAV, 48kHz 24-bit WAV or 48kHz/AAC, and they’re all searchable through the Artlist website, just like the music. The sound effects aren’t included in the standard music plan, although Artlist offers multiple options to subscribe, depending on your needs.

  • Artlist Music + SFX – $25/mo ($299 billed annually)
  • Artlist SFX – $12.50/mo ($149 billed annually)
  • Artlist Music – $16.60/mo ($199 billed annually)

If you need both music and sound effects, the Music + SFX package offers a $50 annual saving, with an easy upgrade option for existing subscribers who already have time left on their subscription. And those accounts include a worldwide license that includes commercial projects. So, whether you’re shooting for yourself or a client, you’re covered.

No doubt you’ll want to check them out and have a browse and a listen before deciding if their new SFX library is right for you, so head on over to the Artlist SFX section and hear them for yourself.
