SmallRig Autumn Savings Sale Cuts Camera Gear by Up to 30%

Camera gear is expensive enough without discovering that you also need a tripod, extra batteries, lights, and a cage just to get a shoot off the ground. SmallRig is trying to make some of those supporting pieces easier to buy this month, with its Autumn Savings promotion offering discounts of up to 30% on selected photography and filmmaking gear.

The sale runs from October 6 through October 15, 2026, on Amazon. The discounted products cover everything from full size video tripods and V mount batteries to compact LED lights, smartphone rigs, and camera cages.

Tripods, power and the gear that holds everything together

Tripods make up a large part of the sale, with options ranging from compact travel models to heavy duty systems.

The SmallRig AD 01 video tripod drops from $159.99 to $119.99, while the CT 10 aluminum tripod and monopod falls 30% to $48.93. The AD 100 FreeBlazer carbon fiber tripod is discounted to $287.99 from $399.99.

SmallRig’s collaboration with Potato Jet also features heavily, including the TRIBEX SE hydraulic tripod at $299.99 and the Tribex Carbon II at $599.99.

Power is another significant category. The 99Wh VB99 Pro V Mount battery falls to $199.99, while the smaller VB99 SE drops to $119.99. The Nano36 Power Bank is $50.14 and the Nano72 is $67.99. Both combine V Mount functionality with USB C power, making them useful beyond a traditional camera rig.

The 212Wh VB212 also gets a 20% discount, dropping from $399.99 to $319.99.

Lights and mobile rigs get cheaper too

For smaller productions, several lighting products are included. The 7W RM120 RGB LED panel drops to $47.99, while the P96 Neo mini LED light is available for $14.59.

There are also discounts on the 35 inch Bowens mount softbox kit, RF 20C zoomable LED flashlight, and P108 Neo RGBWW light. These are aimed at different shooting situations, from controlled photography setups to portable fill lighting.

Mobile filmmakers have several options as well. The Universal Phone Cage drops to $47.99, while the All in One Universal Phone Video Rig is discounted to $161.49. SmallRig is also offering a dual handheld kit for the iPhone 18 Pro Max at $111.99.

Action camera and DJI Osmo Pocket accessories are included too, including cages, ND filters, mounting systems and cases.

Camera cages are getting the discount treatment

SmallRig has also included accessories for several current cameras. Sony FX5 owners can find multiple HawkLock cage configurations on sale, while Nikon users get discounts on cages and handles for the Z6 III and Nikon ZR.

The Nikon ZR products are among the larger discounts in the promotion, with several cages and handles reduced by 30%. The Z6 III cage drops to $55.99, while the Nikon ZR camera cage falls to $38.49.

There are also discounts on Nikon EN EL15c batteries, a Sony NP FZ100 battery set, and other power accessories.

A good time to upgrade the boring stuff?

The most useful discounts may not be the products that usually attract attention. Extra batteries, a better tripod, a small light or a cage can have a bigger effect on a working setup than another flashy accessory.

SmallRig’s Autumn Savings runs through October 15, but prices and availability can change during the promotion, so the individual listings are worth checking before buying.

For photographers and filmmakers, the sale raises a familiar question: which piece of gear in your current setup is quietly making every shoot harder than it needs to be?
