A Behind The scenes Look on Annie Leibovitz shooting Star Wars for Vanity Fair

Not many things can compete with the pleasure of photography, I guess Star Wars is one of them. But why compete when you can join forces and have a behind the scenes look at Annie Leibovitz.
Yesterday marked Star Wars day. I guess “May the 4th” is too strong of a pun to resist. In honors of the day and the upcoming Star Wars The Force Awakens, Vanity fair asked Annie Leibovitz to do a cover shoot of the team.
Watching Annie Leibovitz work is always a pleasure, though the BTS does not show many of the photography involved. That said, if you are a Star Wars fan, you can get an extra glimpse on the desert star where the story happens.

Vanity Fair promises “More of her portraits of Star Wars actors in costume are promised once the new issue hits the web and newsstands this week for May the Fourth”

Ok it was behind the scenes but nothing interesting from a photography point of view at all for me.
