“COOPH Apparel”: Clothing That’s specifically designed For Photographers

There are many photography- related products and accessories out there but what COOPH announced today is something special that hasn’t been there before (at least not in my knowledge): Clothes that were specifically designed for photographers. Yes, you read that right, now you can get yourself a beanie with a pocked that’s dedicated to hold a lens cap or perhaps a shirt with an integrated lens cleaning cloth?
Here are a few of products that COOPH announced:
THE PHOTOGRAPHY GLOVES
The COOPH photography gloves allow you to manipulate all of your camera’s controls while also enabling you to use your smartphone’s touchscreen.
THE COOPH BEANIES
This beanie has a special pocket for storing a lens cap. Rumor has it that it probably also keeps your ears warm…
THE COOPH SHIRT
The shirt’s special photography- feature is the sewn in lens cleaning cloth at the bottom that allows you to clean a lens “guilt- free”.
In my opinion this is great news to every photographer. Seriously, who hasn’t cleaned his lens with a t-shirt before? Nobody, right? I’m actually thinking about getting one of these beanies because I’ve lost like 1000 lens caps in the last year. If you want to see the whole product lineup of “COOPH Apparel”, make sure to head over to their store.

I don’t understand the use in any of this. I have pockets on my trousers for lens caps.. I’ll still rub my lenses on my t-shirts as it’s unlikely I’d restock my entire wardrobe to this line… and buttoning up a jumper that contains a lens/camera is pretty useless.
their target is people without imagination looking for christmas gifts for photographer friends/SOs. i doubt any photographer would buy any of these, especially considering the prices.
not even their model is convinced he should be wearing that silly beanie with a pocket attached… look at his expression:

jeez, 120euros for a hoodie… I’m all up for paying money for decent clothes.. but these don’t scream high quality, they scream ‘cheap gimmick’.
Austin Pena haha
This will solve all of my problems haha
CLOTHING THAT’S SPECIFICALLY DESIGNED almost exclusively FOR male PHOTOGRAPHERS just like almost every other bit of photography gear out there.
i totally get your point.
considering the offering this time you’re definitely better off without…
This was exactly my first thought. Ugh….
Microfibre lens cleaning cloths are inexpensive enough to sew into the lining of one’s favourite shirts or jackets.
Neat at best, but they must be high thinking anyone will buy any of it for the prices they are asking.
Does any of their clothing have pockets for film?
Lol, 40 EUROS for a 50% acrylic beanny, 50 for a Tee : a pure hipster trap….
Wow, I didn’t know my jeans were specifically designed for photographers, they can fit multiple lens caps too! #beforeitwascool
I like the extra pockets on the hoodie, but as many said “not at that price”. I’m thinking old army BDU’s and a web belt would work better and make a ‘fashion statement’ lol (we need to bring cargo pants back in style, always liked them anyway). The hat is kind of ridiculous.
