Remember getting your first DSLR and all the grand illusions that came with it? Those were good old days, when naivety was still sorta blissful. Heck, they’re still good once you realize how much fun it is to look back on those experiences and laugh at our newbie selves.

The same principle applies here:You were craving for creamy bokeh, but then realized the super expensive lens you just bought is too tight for street photography.

all depends if already knows the Photography basics. if so it’s easy to. in fact I bought one thing at a time and always bought prime lens and good lens too. i never spend money in bad lens.
Yea, the body is less important than the lens, I can take pretty amazing shot on my 60D
The disparity is even greater for GoPro owners. I bought one several years ago and I’m still not an X-games athlete or a world class skier. Maybe if I were to buy the newest model…
Wow, yes thats true, I used to teach alpine sking. Im a professional cameraman thats what I do for my living. But I realized that even if I drop a 5-10 feet cliff on my ski …. the footage kinda sucked ….. Even if you know how to set-up everything the Go pro 1 was a on and off button point and shoot.

Also the ride was really intense and I had powder to the knee, but on video it just look like a easy regular ride … FML
Samething when I went outdoor cliff climbing … since im not in the top world élite of the sport it kinda looked a bit boring …
I was expecting red-bull stuff result but you really need to be ON TOP OF THE GAME, to get any interesting footage of something on a go pro. Note that was the go pro 1, the image quality have been pushed to the max at the editing …

I remember. I was kinda disappointed to see my compact camera’s pictures were just better in every way – sharper, more vibrant, contrasty. Then I learned post processing. Things becoming better and better afterwards.
Haha. I’m guilty of this. I f***ed up many times because of my expectations. And I was too overwhelmed by the many settings in my dSLR and didn’t practice enough to achieve some improvement.
