How To Turn A $4,000 D800 Into A Spiffy Peephole

You know those places that look like the perfect place to live in? Like the apartment at friends or the one in Seinfeld? Well, those just got demoted to a shack statue with Jared Polin’s introduction of the $4,000 peephole.
Now, over the years we did share a hack that converted a peephole into a fisheye lens, but this is, I think, the first time we are sharing a lens (and DSLR) turned into a peephole.
So, bill of materials:
- 1 fireproof door
- 1 old lens
- 1 D800
- 1 PVC tube
and a huge drill…
Just for comparison sake, here is that door from friends again:

Where the fuck does a D800 come into this, he used an OLD film body. Besides this video is soooo old.
If heard right, he uses a n90. But he placed the D800 to show on live view how it looks like.
How many people would click on a title that says “How to Turn A $50 N90s (And $100ish lens) Into a Spiffy Peephole”…? ;-)
Just stick a UV or a Skylight filter on the lens so that visitors won’t put their grubby fingerprints on the lens.
Whata TARD!
Very Stupid Idea !!
