This jacket protects both you and your gear from all weather conditions

If you get caught up in a heavy rain, snow or wind, I’m sure you want to protect both yourself and your precious gear. You can have a good jacket to keep you warm and dry, and there are several options for protecting the gear, like waterproof backpacks or lens caps. But Langly Field Jacket brings the two together: it’s designed to protect both you and all your gear from the elements.
The design of the Langly Field Jacket is inspired by the M-65 field jacket. While the iconic model was designed by the military and also aimed to keep you dry and warm, I personally like it for the looks. It’s possibly because it reminds me of my teenage days when every “true” punk rocker had one. But I digress.
The Langly Field Jacket is designed for the travelers and outdoorsy people, both men and women. But there’s also a version with accessories for photographers, and that’s what we’re interested in here.
When it comes to protecting you from the elements, the material of the jacket and every seam of it are fully weather-sealed to keep you dry. There’s an adjustable wireframe hood with a pull-cord system to keep you warm and dry. In case it gets warmer, there are zippered vents under the arms. Although I’m not sure how much that helps to prevent you from getting sweaty under the arms.
The jacket has large, weather-sealed pockets, and the photographer version comes with a tether system that can be attached inside the front pockets. The tether system includes a memory card holder, a DSLR battery or 35mm film pouch, a flash battery pouch, lens filter and cap holder, and a lens wipe. The jacket itself has two camera lens pockets that let you fit up to two lenses.
The Langly Field Jacket comes in sizes from XXS to XXL and in three colors: black, green and yellow. It sure looks like a good idea to keep your lenses and accessories on you, protected from the elements while you’re protected as well. But for disorganized people like me, I wonder how much time it takes to reach for the right pocket and find what you’re looking for. Also, if you need to carry more than two lenses, I suppose this isn’t the best solution.
Still, if you want to have your gear protected together with you (at least some of the gear), The Langly Field jacket for photographers is available for a pledge of $360 ($345 while the “early bird” offer is still on). It includes the jacket and the accessories tethered to it, which will keep your gear dry. The project has already been funded, and the jacket is expected to ship in December 2018.

Another useless video of 2-3 second frames of absolutely nothing. The narration is even more worthless than the visuals. Tech companies must think us as immature idiots.
How about how stuff is connected to pockets? How deep are they? etc. etc.
But hey, who care about the facts when we can show you helicopters and places you hopefully consider exotic.
Here is how you make a product video: https://tinyurl.com/yarn2arg
Prety much everything that can be said about this video.
Let me know when it hits Canada ??
Why do Photographers get these ugly jackets targeted to them?
Taste levels = null.
