Keyboard shortcuts can be a huge time saver and help your post production workflow run a lot more efficiently. It can be tough to learn and keep track of them all, especially if you’re using multiple programs as part of your process. There are all sorts of tools available to us remember all the shortcuts such as this handy web app, a countless number of printable charts, or these keyboard covers if you really mean business.
The thing is, some of those methods of learning the shortcuts may be an overload of information if your workflow isn’t too advanced or intricate. With that being said, it’s nice to occasionally open up a conversation with other photographers to see which shortcuts they find the most useful as a way to learn a new move or two on the fly.
To start you out, here’s a quick video from Craig McCormick, where he shares his 5 must know Lightroom shortcuts. Take a look, then share your go-to shortcuts with the rest of us in the comments, below.

Save on time and brain cells!
Just build my DIY Lightroom controller I published a while back ( before I had 3 kids ) https://www.diyphotography.net/how-to-build-a-diy-cullinator/
Enjoy, Ori
My ideal setup is exactly that, plus a MIDI controller, plus a WACOM. What I can afford is a mouse and keyboard that were left in my building lobby. :(
One of my fave is ‘R’…should I want to resize/crop an image :)
