YoloLiv has announced its new pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) camera, the VertiCam. As the name suggests, it’s a vertically oriented camera for shooting vertical videos to let you record and live stream to social media. Inside it features a 1/2.8″ sensor with a resolution of 2.07-megapixels. As such, it offers 1080p vertical video at frame rates of up to 60 frames per second, with a 3.5-42.3mm lens and f/1.8-2.8 aperture.

Although designed primarily to complement the company’s Instream vertical video streaming device – which we checked out at IBC 2022 – the VertiCam supports USB connectivity straight to your computer for and RS232 for remote control. There’s also a full-sized HDMI output for connecting to the Instream or similar devices for streaming and recording separately from the computer.

YoloLiv has created a nice little lineup of all-in-one video switcher/encoder/streamer/recorder/monitor devices, starting with the original YoloBox, the YoloBox Mini and more recently, the YoloBox Pro. Now, they’ve taken that principle and applied it to the rapidly growing world of Instagram and TikTok live streaming with the new YoloLiv Instream.

The 7″ box lets you mix multiple HDMI and USB camera devices and features many of the usual features you’ve come to know from the exiting YoloBox products, such as overlays and multiviews to let you directly stream vertically to social media. And it’ll let you do it without a computer or even your smartphone.

Live streaming has become immensely popular over the last couple of years, to the point that even though many parts of the world have opened back up, it’s still a big thing. Now that a lot of the hardware is readily available, everybody wants to be at that wedding (even if they didn’t get an invite) or wants to go to that party, listen to that talk given by their hero thousands of miles away. The big problem is finding a platform that works for everybody.

Well, YoloLiv, creator of the YoloBox series of live streaming video switchers is here with their solution. YoloCast is a cloud-based service that lets you stream 1080p video at up to 60 frames per second to multiple platforms simultaneously. Do you have viewers that argue over whether they prefer to watch on YouTube, Twitch or Facebook? Well, now you can stream to them all at once.

YoloLiv has today announced its new YoloBox Mini. The 5.5″ pocket-sized YoloBox Mini supports up to 1080p 60fps streaming and features a built-in 4G LTE sim socket for direct connection to YouTube, Facebook and other platforms without the need for WiFi. It also has a built-in battery and can operate completely independently, streaming from wherever you can get a signal without having to connect it up to a laptop or other computer.
