Feiyutech has announced two new motorised 3-axis gimbals. These are the Scorp and the Scorp Pro. Unlike many other gimbals, though, the “Pro” model isn’t just the regular gimbal with a bunch of extras added. In this case, it’s actually a completely different gimbal. Like the regular Scorp, but modular, adding a lot of versatility and shooting options over the basic model Scorp.

Feiyutech has announced the newest pocket gimbal, the Feiyu Pocket 2S. In normal operation, it acts similarly to practically every other pocket gimbal on the market, but this one has a detachable gimbal, allowing you to mount the head pretty much anywhere you like while allowing remote operation with the handle.

Separating the two doesn’t completely disconnect them from each other – there’s still a cable between them, but it allows you to attach the gimbal to clothing, helmets, or anything you like, really, without the handle getting in the way. It’s being launched via Indiegogo with some big Super Early Bird discounts.

Feiyutech has announced a new camera that looks somewhat familiar. It’s the new Feiyu Pocket Handheld Gimbal – a tiny 4K 60fps 3-axis stabilised camera that can be held easily in your hand. Yeah, it does resemble the DJI Osmo Pocket a little bit huh? Except, this one’s about 2/3rds the price of the DJI, priced at only $249
