This year’s contest received thousands of entries from over 80 countries, showcasing the global reach of mobile photography. “The judges had a difficult job selecting the winners,” said Daniel Berman, the founder of the Mobile Photography Awards. “We are confident that the winning images represent the best of mobile photography.”
Australian photographer Glenn Homann is this year’s grand prize winner for his stunning portfolio, including images of different genres like portraits, architecture, and street photography.

Speaking of genres, the contest covers 12 different categories, including Black and White, Landscapes, Street Photography, Portraits, Architecture, and more. But there’s a special category this year, awarding AI work. In this contest, first place was awarded to US photographer John Nieto.

“Mobile photography has come a long way, and it is exciting to see the quality of the images that can be created with just a smartphone,” Daniel Berman says. “The Mobile Photography Awards are a testament to the power of this medium, and we are thrilled to be a part of it.”

Useless that
Click bait
A bit like trying to enter a photo into a sculpture competition.
AI doesn’t belong in any photography competition
Hell with that..
If it’s AI generated doesn’t that mean not taken with a camera? So what is AI art doing in a photo contest? Seems kinda stupid
