Emilia Clarke recreates business stock photos, and it’s hilarious

Actress Emilia Clarke is best known for her role as Daenerys Targaryen in Game of Thrones. But in a recent video from Vanity Fair, it seems that she has found a new calling. Her alter ego is “Barbara the businesswoman” and she recreates cliché business stock photos. And I gotta say – she nailed it! And she also made me laugh out loud.

We’ve all seen the most common business stock photos: a successful team leader, a businessperson pointing at graphs, a stressed worker, a team showing thumbs up, or a successful businessperson. Emilia recreated these most common business stock photos and it looks like she had lots of fun doing it.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment, this career-defining moment … this honesty and truth that I know I’m going to find … in Barbara the businesswoman,” the actress tells Vanity Fair. It’s a joke of course, but nevertheless, this video has sure made my day.

Here are a couple of screenshots, so you can see for yourself if recreating stock photos should be Emilia Clarke’s new calling. : )
