Days Inn Hotels seek photographers, offer $10,000, paid travel across the US, and more

As if traveling and taking photos isn’t the perfect lifestyle already, Days Inn by Wyndham offers you cash and paid travel on top of it. If you’re a talented US photographer looking for a gig, this may be an opportunity for you to take photos and travel across the country for two weeks.

The two-week-long internship, or the “Sunternship,” takes you to various locations in the US, and you’re required to capture the moments along the way. You will “earn some major photo cred” and your photos and videos will be featured on the brand’s website and social media channels. Sounds a lot like “working for exposure,” but read on.

For this two-week adventure, you’ll be paid $10,000. You will stay at Days Inn hotels across the States free of charge, plus ground transportation is also covered. You’ll also get $250 a day, so you can explore your sunny destination(s) to the fullest.

In addition to all this, you’ll also get the exposure I mentioned and a “glowing recommendation” from a Days Inn by Wyndham executive. There’s also Wyndham Rewards Diamond level membership status with all its perks you can read about here.

If you’re interested, you’ll be asked to “capture as many photos as your camera roll will hold.” You should apply not only if you’re a photographer, but also if you’re “adventure-driven” and “social media-savvy storyteller” Days Inn writes.

The Sunternship begins in August 2021. Keep in mind that it’s for US residents only and that you need to be 21 or older to be considered. If you meet all the criteria, send your application to suntern@citizenrelations.com and read more about Sunternship here.
