Not every adventure calls for a big action camera strapped to your chest. Sometimes, you just want something small enough to clip onto a bag, attach to a bike, or take into the water without worrying about a protective case. The AGM CAM 1 is built for that kind of casual shooting. Weighing just 39 grams, it records 2K video and 12MP photos in a rugged, waterproof body designed to go wherever everyday life takes you.
The CAM 1 is aimed at casual creators, travelers, and anyone who wants to record everyday activities without carrying bulky equipment.

Waterproof without the extra housing
Unlike action cameras that rely on an external case for protection, the CAM 1 is designed to handle water and impacts on its own. It carries IP68 and IP69K ratings and meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards, according to AGM Mobile.
That makes it suitable for activities such as swimming, cycling, and outdoor trips, although its stated waterproof depth is up to 2 meters. It is better suited to shallow-water footage than deep diving.
Its 39g weight also makes it easy to wear for extended periods. The included magnetic necklace mount allows hands-free recording, while a sport mount offers another way to attach the camera. Magnetic mounting gives users more flexibility to experiment with different viewpoints, but it is still worth checking that the camera is securely attached before setting off.

A tiny camera with practical features
The CAM 1 records video in 2K resolution and takes 12MP still photos. A 1.45-inch display with a claimed brightness of 600 nits helps users frame shots, while physical buttons keep the controls straightforward.
There is also a built-in light for scenes with limited illumination, along with an integrated microphone for audio. Footage is stored on a microSD card, with support for cards up to 256GB.
AGM has not detailed important video specifications such as frame rates or stabilization performance in the announcement. Those details will be worth checking for anyone planning to use the CAM 1 for fast-moving action or footage that needs to look smooth straight out of the camera.

For longer outings, AGM also offers a Deluxe Package with a battery case that adds 800mAh of power. The case supports recording while charging and includes standard mounting points for poles and tripods.
The bundle also comes with a hat clip, a bike mount, and a 16GB microSD card. The standard package includes a magnetic necklace mount and a sport mount, so buyers should compare the contents before choosing a version.
Small camera, fewer excuses to leave it behind
The AGM CAM 1 is listed at a starting price of $39.99, making it a budget alternative to more expensive action cameras. Its 2K recording and compact design will not replace a higher-end model for demanding video work, but that is not necessarily the point.
For travelers, cyclists, and casual creators, its appeal is having a camera that is light, rugged, and easy to mount without extra housing. Sometimes, the most useful camera is the one you can bring along without having to think twice.
