These tiny camera pins are almost too cute to resist, but GR fans will have to wait a little longer to get their hands on them.

Ricoh Imaging has postponed the release of its GR 30th anniversary pin badges, moving the launch from October 21 to November 13, 2026. The collectible set features 14 designs celebrating three decades of the GR camera series.

14 GR cameras become miniature collectibles

The anniversary pin badge set brings together models from across the GR lineup, from the original GR1 film camera to the latest GR IV. The 14 designs include the GR10, GR1s, GR21, GR1v, GR DIGITAL, GR DIGITAL II, GR DIGITAL III, GR DIGITAL IV, GR, GR II, GR III, GR IIIx, and GR IV.

The badges come in a special package marking the series’ 30th anniversary. Ricoh is producing 6,000 units of the GR IV 30th Anniversary Edition camera bundle worldwide, which includes the pin badge set alongside anniversary accessories and standard camera essentials.

The bundle contains a special finger strap, ring cap, metal hot shoe cover, rechargeable battery, USB cable, and hand strap.

Buyers who want the badges without purchasing the anniversary camera can also buy the pin badge set separately. Individual badges featuring GR models from throughout the series’ history will also be available.

Ricoh has not detailed the reasons for the delay, describing it as the result of various circumstances.

Another entry in photography’s cute merch collection

Camera companies have increasingly turned familiar equipment designs into collectibles for fans. Ricoh’s miniature GR cameras join a growing category of photography themed merchandise that lets enthusiasts show their interests without carrying another piece of gear.

Nikon, for example, recently introduced a leather business card holder inspired by the texture and design of its camera bodies. While that accessory takes a more understated approach, Ricoh’s pin badges offer a more playful way to celebrate a camera lineup’s history.

For GR fans, the appeal is partly nostalgia. The set traces the evolution of a compact camera family that spans film and digital photography, giving longtime users a small reminder of the models they have owned, used, or admired.

So, which GR model would you want to pin to your camera bag while you wait?
