Nanlite Pavoslim 240CL

Nanlite has announced the new PavoSlim 240CL ($1,750). It’s a slim, lightweight and robust 4×1 RGB LED panel with a high output of 260W. That’s 21,030 Lux for 5600K daylight at 1 metre. As expected in an LED light in 2024, it has a higher CRI and TLCI of 96 and 97, respectively.

This is the largest light in Nanlite’s PavoSlim series, which was shown off at IBC in September 2023 and then released a couple of months later. The series was expanded earlier this year with some new models, and now we’ve got another.

PavoSlim 240CL – Big light in confined spaces

We’ve all been faced with situations where more traditional style LED lights and large softboxes are just too big and bulky for the space we’re in. We often try to make do with what we have, but panels are usually a far better option. But many panels, especially RGB ones, are usually quite small and lacking in power.

The PavoSlim 240CL may be the answer. It’s a 4ft x 1ft panel with 260 watts of output, providing the full complement of RGB colours as well as white light from 2700-7500K with +/-150 green/magenta adjustment. It offers CCT/HSI/RGBW/GEL/Effect modes with 15 different lighting effects.

Multiple power options are available, including AC, DC and V-Mount options. So, you can use it easily when filming in other people’s spaces, too, even those without plug sockets. And, of course, you get a range of remote control options, including the Nanlite app, DMX/RDM and LumenRadio CRMX.

Price and Availability

The Nanlite PavoSlim 240CL is available to pre-order now for $1,750. Units are scheduled to ship in the coming weeks.
