Team Group has just announced its newest T-CREATE EXPERT SDXC UHS-II V90 SD card, and it’s turning heads for a simple reason: it’s the first V90 card to hit 2TB. For professional photographers and filmmakers, this could be a game-changer. But is it all it’s cracked up to be?

This latest release clearly shows they’re now targeting high-end photographers and filmmakers. And they’re doing it with a bang, too. They’ve beaten all of the big names like SanDisk, Lexar, and OWC in announcing the world’s first 2TB UHS-II SD card.

Is It Worth It?

This launch comes hot on the heels of SanDisk’s 2TB Extreme Pro UHS-I card ($299.99), which dropped in November 2024. While SanDisk’s offering was impressive, it targeted a broader audience with its UHS-I standard, catering more to everyday creators and enthusiasts. While the idea of 2TB in your camera bag is undeniably exciting, the reality is that cards like this are niche. Not everyone needs this much storage—or the premium price tag it’ll likely come with. Still, for those who do, Team Group’s card could become the new gold standard.
