The funniest photography competition in the world has announced its winners for 2022. Yes, of course, it’s the Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards!

This year, the title of the funniest image was rewarded to Jennifer Hadley for her photo of a clumsy little lion. While cats, both wild and domestic, are known for exquisite reflexes, this one is… well, not so graceful. As always, there are more hilarious shots among category winners, so let’s check them out together and improve this day, shall we?

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards never fails to make me smile with its selection of winners or finalists. And not just smile, but downright laugh my head off. And this is exactly what happened when I saw this year’s finalists.

The contest has announced the final selection of images, one of which will soon be chosen as the overall winner. And in case you need a serotonin boost for today – look no further! Scroll down and have a good laugh like I did when I first saw this year’s Comedy Wildlife finalists.

It’s that time of the year again: some of my favorite photography contests are announcing the winners. The Comedy Pet Photo Awards is one of them, and the 2022 winners have just been revealed.

This year’s winner is Kenichi Morinaga with his photo of two cats sitting on a fence cheek to cheek… or better to say neck to neck. Of course, there are category winners as well, and we’re sharing all of them with you today.

Nope, it’s not an April Fool’s joke – the 2022 Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards is now open for entries. Considering the nature of the contest, I’d say that the date is totally appropriate, and from today on you can submit your own funny wildlife images.

The lovely folks behind this contest have a great way to inspire you to join them. They shared with DIYP some previously unseen photos from the 2021 contest that will inspire you to either go out shooting or search your archive for some hilarious images. Or if nothing else – they will make your day brighter, and we sure all need this at the end of the workweek.

This year’s overall winner is a photo of a Golden Silk Monkey I named “The Nutcracker,” I guess you can tell why.
