If you’re looking for a little something to boost your ideas for wedding and engagement shoots, photographers Phil Chester and Sara Byrne (AKA PS Photo Stuff) have just the thing. In less than two minutes, they demonstrate some of the most popular poses for photographing couples. You can use them to jumpstart your creative process and of course, end up with some neat shots.

Phil and Sara guide you through 18 ways to pose couples for a photoshoot. They have a name for each of them, so other than inspiring you, this video might also give you a good chuckle.

Still, remember that posing people takes skill and patience, especially if they aren’t models. But I believe this quick demonstration is a good way to learn a few ways to pose couples. It can help you get started with the shoot or determine the direction in which you want it to go.
