Full version of Canon’s webcam software is now available for Windows and macOS

Back in the spring, Canon introduced the Beta version of its EOS Webcam Utility Software for Windows and macOS. Now, the full version is available for both operating systems. There have been some improvements added, as well as more apps and cameras that you can use with the software.

The EOS Webcam Utility Software is now compatible with over 40 Canon cameras. The EOS M50 Mark II has been added to the 1.1 update, as well as more streaming apps. The software lets you record internally while streaming, and here is the list of the compatible cameras and apps:

Canon has published two videos that guide you through setting up the software on both PC and Mac:

If you’d like to download the Canon EOS Webcam Utility Software, you can find it here. Select your camera model from the list and proceed to download the software for your operating system. The download and installation should be fairly simple, but if you have any issues, you can check out Canon’s Support Forum.
