DIY: Tiltable Overhead Camera Rig With LED Lights For Perfect Table Top Perspective Shots

overhead-rigThere are lots of reasons why you may need to take an overhead photo of a desk or table top and, depending on your setup, a tripod isn’t always the most helpful tool to get the job done. That’s why we have overhead camera stands, they make the task much less complicated. The team over at I Like To Make Stuff, thought so too, and decided to whip up this whole tutorial showing us how we can make an overhead stand ourselves, plus add some custom features to it like remote controlled LED lighting.

This particular build does require some welding, which not everyone will be able to do; however, I know you guys are capable of thinking of and executing an ingenious modification to make the build work for you. Like using wood, for example, which is discussed at the very end of the clip.
