Ever wondered what kind of portrait $10 in photographer’s fees will get you? Ever wondered what $25 in fees will get you?
I am not really sure if this can even be a serious question but apparently, there is a variance even in the lower end of the price market.
Redditor M0shka needed a quick shot for a job application, so he got a photographer who created one for a mere $10. He was not really happy with what he got, so he got a second shot for $25.
Have a look at both photos, and see if you figure out which is the $10 photo and is a $25 one.
M0shka says he was so happy with his $25 photo that he even tipped an extra $5.
I know that some will jump and say that “such low prices are killing the market” and that “any photographer who respects themselves…” and so on.
But sometimes you just need a quick photo of yourself. It doesn’t need to be amazing or expensive. It just needs to not look like a bad selfie. Photography isn’t just one market. It’s lots of markets, with different needs and different budgets.
