Can you help this photographer find the brothers saying their final goodbyes to their father?

A photographer captured an emotional moment this week of two brothers saying their final goodbye to their father as they released his ashes. Of course, he now would like help finding the pair to gift them the photograph as it’s something they will cherish.

Photographer Kurt Ozan was hiking Cathedral Rock in Sedona, Arizona, when he met the two brothers. They explained that their father had always wanted to visit the Grand Canyon but sadly had never made it while he was alive. They were planning to release his ashes there to honor his last wish.

Ozan captured a beautiful image of the men sitting on the cliff edge, holding the urn from a distance. Unfortunately, he didn’t get their contact details.

Ozan was touring with a country band when he decided to take a hike on one of his days off. He described the scene to Action News Jax as the “most picturesque thing I’ve ever seen”.

The brothers drove all the way from Jacksonville, Florida, to fulfill their father’s last wish, and the photograph was taken on February 7th, 2023. Ozan would love to help get the word out so that he can send the brothers a print of his photograph.

Can you help? If you know the brothers, you can contact Ozan via Instagram.
