Austin-based photographer, Emily Blincoe, enjoys working with color. In fact, her work with color is borderline OCD.

While she has done other color coding work before like flowers, sodas and personals, this sugar crazed collection caught our attention. In a series of photo controlled with one color, Emily organizes a neat display of treats.

Though i like the color harmony of the images, the lighting is kinda off/uneven. if you like this sort of thing, you should check out Todd McClellan. I played around with it (http://photogagogblog.com/?p=539). It’s actually very zen when you get into it. Mainly, you need no kids, animals, breezes, clumsy spouses/coworkers nearby especially if you have your work on the floor. I recommend museum wax to hold things in place.

um, weird; and I’m boarderline ocd too. but I guess it is a whimsical and colorful snapshot of sugar these days. so I say it passes the delectable artistic test :-P
