The Epson International Pano Awards has just shared the winners of its 2020 contest. If you enjoy aerial, landscape, and architecture photography, this will be a real treat. We selected some of the awarded images to share with you, and trust me, it was a tough task to make a selection because they’re all stunning! So keep on reading and check out the magnificent photos from Epson’s gallery.
The Epson International Pano Awards is all about panoramic photography. It showcases the work of photographers worldwide, and this year’s competition received a record of 5,859 entries. 1,452 professional and amateur photographers from 96 countries competed to win the title of the overall winner, and Matt Jackisch from Canada won the contest with his image Spring Hibernation.

“I spent a blissful day snowshoeing in the BC Coastal Mountains in March. With such a deep snowpack, it was still very wintery up high,” Jackisch said when explaining how he took the photo.
“I find the more time I spend alone in nature, the quieter my mind gets. The quieter my mind gets, the more subtleties I notice in my surroundings. I only saw this tree because of that state of being. This image was a product of solitude and mindfulness.”
The runner-up in the Open category was Colin Leonhardt from Australia for his image Mine Waste.

The competition also recognizes the winner in the Amateur category. This year’s winner was Juan López Ruiz from Spain for his image Light and Dark on the Towers. The runner-up in this category was Carlos F. Turienzo from Spain for his image Janela.

Take a look at more images below. We selected them from the top 50 images in each category, and there are also images that received a special prize in different categories. Make sure to visit The Epson International Pano Awards website and browse through more wonderful images.
