We're Giving Away The Coolest Straps And Plates Ever (EVER!)

Update: the giveaway is now over, thanks for playing. And a huge thanks for custom SLR for providing the prize. Scroll to the bottom to see if you won.

The good folks over at CustomSLR are giving away a complete set of their super cool lineup: A Split Strap+Cloop Combo, A Cloop + Glide Strap and an M-Plate (value $210.8).

Here is the nice thing about this combo. You can use the glide strap (or split strap) while on the go, and instantly mount your camera on a Manfrotto/ArcaSwiss tripod without removing the strap. As of the release of the M-plate, a few weeks back, the Glide Strap/M-Plate/C-loop combo did not leave my camera and is the combo I use in my shoots. Super Comfy!

To enter the giveaway all you need to do is answer one simple question:

What Is The Thing You Are Going To Shoot Next?

Don’t be shy now. It can be a super elaborate 50 persons crew composite, or a quick snap with your iPhone. Indoors, or out in the wild. We wanna hear it.

If you wnna see a bit more about those cool gadgets check out the C-loop and the M-Plate videos.

You can enter in two ways, each will grant you one ruffle ticket

1. Leave your answer as a comment on this post (and please unmark ‘receive email notifications‘ – trust me on this one :) + I am moderating comments so you’l have a to wait a bit to see it coming.

2. Twit your answer with the following URL and hash in the tweet: http://bit.ly/diypnextthing #diypnextthing. Feel free to be as creative as you want, as long as you have the URL and hash in the twit.

The giveaway will end on Friday, August 10th, when random.org will pick up one lucky winner, and this post will be updated with the winner’s name.

Just a little bit of fine print:

1. This contest is open worldwide. We will pick up shipping, winner picks up any local taxes if any

2. If response if not there in 3 days, we move on to the next in line. Good luck!

UPDATE: This giveaway is now over. Participation
has been awesome with 533 comment entries and 133 tweet entries,
weirdly totaling in 666 total entries. I wonder what it means???

As per random.org the winner is comment #275 by mcdarius who is going to shoot the Triathlon. A mail was sent to the winner.

Thanks again to Think Tank Photo for being so awesome!
