Changing a camera battery is something we do routinely, without putting too much thought into it. But when you see someone doing it in space, you’ll stop and look in awe. I still find lots of magic in doing anything in zero gravity, and the ISS astronaut Don Pettit shows us how to change a Nikon Z9 battery in space.

In addition to being a NASA astronaut, scientist, and inventor, Donald (Don) Pettit is also a photographer. As you can imagine, he has access to some of the most breathtaking views thanks to his viewpoint from aboard the ISS. What a combo! He also previously showed us how to change a lens in space. And yes, I find it equally fun to watch.
After all, with space tourism becoming a reality, perhaps this knowledge will be useful one day. Well, at least for the rich. And Katy Perry.
