Moment’s Everything bags wants to replace all your other camera bags

Moment has announced its new series of Everything bags (buy here). Billed as “the daily backpack and tote to replace all your other bags”, the new series is comprised of three sizes of backpacks and a tote. The company says that the range was inspired by their own Travelwear line, released in 2020. Now, though, they say that “everything is better”.

The new Everything bags contain custom-developed fabrics that resist lint, pet hair and dirt. They’re also made with weatherproof micro ripstop with a durable water-repellent finish and a 2-layer waterproof coating. They also feature unisex contoured straps with a wide range of adjustability to fit just about everyone.

Three backpack sizes and one tote

The Everything bags includes backpacks and a 19-litre tote. The backpacks are available in three different capacities for different uses. There’s a 17-litre Daypack, a 21-litre Overnighter, and a 28-litre Weekender. The bags are available in two different styles, and there’s a new workwear colour, providing a variety of appearance options. They can also be bundled with 8-litre or 4-litre camera inserts to transform them into camera bags that don’t look like camera bags.

Moment says that the new bags are designed to transform quickly based on your needs at the time you want to use them. Want to head out to a location shoot? Throw in a camera insert and you’re good to go. Planning a weekend away travelling and want to pack a bunch of clothes and a smaller camera setup? No problem. Its goal is to let you rearrange it however you want.

The bags are designed to hug the wearer’s body shape, providing the maximum possible level of comfort and greater support. Moment says it “has padding in all the right places”, is lightweight, and durable enough to protect your gear without added bulk.

It’s an interesting set of bags, showing that Moment has clearly learned from its Travelwear series. But although they’re designed to replace all your existing camera bags, I can’t see them replacing all of mine. But maybe they’ll replace yours.

Price and Availability

Moment is launching the Everything series of bags via Kickstarter, with pledges starting at $99. During the campaign, the new bags have 25% off the regular retail price and accessories are 40% off. Items are expected to be in stock from September.
