This is how you force your phone to upload HD movies and photos to facebook

If you are uploading photos and videos to facebook directly from your phone, you may have noticed that the quality is not on par as the photos you are uploading from your computer. The reason for this is that by default, the facebook app is set to upload low res photos and videos to facebook to save bandwidth and data charges.
If you want your photos and videos uploaded at maximum quality, here is what should should do:
On iPhone, go to facebook app settings then photo and video, and check “Upload HD” under both photos and videos.
On android, go to settings and check Upload HD photos (I did not find a setting for HD videos)

Why should I do that?
It’s not a case of ‘forcing’ your phone to do it. Rather just change a setting – your article makes it look like the facility isn’t available when it is.
i’m confused. you DO have upload videos in HD actually already selected in the settings for your Android device.
At least it says on your Image, under Video Settings, ‘upload HD’ is selected. Am I missing something?
If its already selected, then you are good to go. Just accept the setting and move on. Don’t be confused.
Here is a question maybe one of you can answer. What if I have my IG set up to post on all of my social media platforms…will it still upload Hi-Res to facebook or will it down convert?
