This street photographer embodies the art of being in the right place at the right time

Indian photographer Vineet Vohra has been recognised as one of the most influential street photographers of recent years. His work imbues Cartier-Bresson’s Decisive Moment, with many of his photographs displaying a clever yet subtly playful point of view.

Vohra’s images appear simple at first glance, however, they are anything but. To capture moments such as these takes incredible patience as well as having a great eye that can anticipate action. “My main focus is how to make ordinary moments look extraordinary,” says the Delhi-based photographer. “I think every one of us should get involved with photography because it gives more than one can ever imagine.”
