Starting on 16 April 2018, the price of Adobe Creative Cloud subscription will increase for certain subscription plans. On your renewal date, you will need to pay more for the plan you’re using. But there’s the good news too: Creative Cloud Photography plan remains the same. If you’re paying for a different subscription plan, you’ll see the price increase with your next renewal.
In an email sent to DPReview, Adobe has confirmed the upcoming price increase for their subscription plans. The customers in the United States, Canada and Mexico will see the change starting from 16 April 2018. If you are a new subscriber, you can benefit from the current pricing and lock your subscription for a year, without experiencing the price increase.
The increase will not be the same for all plans. Here are the updated prices as stated in Adobe’s official announcement:
- Creative Cloud for Individual Single App plans will increase to $20.99 per month from $19.99 per month or $1 per month
- Creative Cloud for Individual All Apps plans will increase to $52.99 per month from $49.99 per month or $3 per month
- Creative Cloud for Teams All App plans will increase to $79.99 per month from $69.99 per month or $10 per month
The good news is that pricing updates will not impact all plans, Student/Education plan, Creative Cloud Photography, XD and Acrobat CC plans will remain unchanged.
So, photographers, if you are using Creative Cloud Photography plan, you have nothing to worry about. But if your plan is Single App or All Apps, you’ll see the price increase on your next renewal date.

Just because they can, after the record profit year of 2017.
“So, photographers you have nothing to worry about”: Yet. Adobe is clearly in a price-raising mood, and it may just be a matter of time before they boost the Photography plan.
That said, they apparently wouldn’t increase it by more than $1/month or $12/year. I can handle that.

Guaranteed ! Adobe is just waiting for their ‘full subscription projections’ to realize before they do a price increase.
