Shotgun Shells Now Being Marketed Specifically For Shooting Down Drones

A company by the name of Snake River Shooting, based in Idaho, is now proudly offering ‘”Drone Munition,” a shotgun shell that’s being marketed as an effective solution to being spied on by drones–load the shell, shoot down the drone. Doesn’t get any more simple than that, right? (You know, except for the felony charges and possible fines and jail time you’ll be facing after you blast your first drone out of the sky.)
While the sales copy being used to sell the Drone Munition does provide plenty of warnings about when and why you should shoot drones out of the air, they kinda forget to mention the felony charge part.
Defending your privacy and safety is just as important as protecting your family! Our shot shell solutions provide a cost effective way to do just that! From standard lead free solutions to electronic defeating loads, and extended range platform, we have the products to defend against the most sophisticated drones.
The shell is described as a 12 Gauge 3″ shell and will come in 2 shot and BB, and from my understanding (I trust one of you will correct me if I’m wrong) they are not that much different from other shells that are currently on the market with the exception of the packaging.

ha! they did not have the guts to put a photo of anything that resembles a real drone on the cover..
I’ll take a box or two.
Guess you missed the Zombie Max loads that have been sold for years

oh gosh! =D
Ooh, perfect for when pesky people stap GoPros to the head of Zombies and let them loose in your yard!
Good.
Better read your local laws before you even think about shooting down a Drone….its an arrestable Federal Offense……look it up!
Like the laws have ever stopped anyone………..
What a bunch of a-holes.
Tracer and incendiary rounds are so over-rated. Just shoot though the batteries.
I’ll just pull out my frequency jammer to disable them…..untraceable.
I like the jamming solution best! Safer, healthier, much more discrete.
Or go full h4ckerz style, gain access to crash land it somewhere far far far away
Just when you thought things state side couldn’t get anymore asinine!
Just ordered 10 cases.
At least it’s steel shot. That way there won’t be any lead poisoning
Its just a marketing gimmick, of course, similar to the ‘zombie apocalypse’ ammo. ))))) Birdshot is useless at a few hundred feet of altitude, shooting at a high angle of attack, anyway. The only legal problem is discharging a firearm in city limits (a rule in most cities), unless this takes place in unincorporated areas (read: most rural locations).
just get a signal jammer and free lipo and camera will actually fall in your lap nonlethal and you get free stuff from heaven
Well I guess I need to get to work mounting that .50 cal turret to a quadcopter to return fire after it is shot at.
Only in gun-happy America.
How about it Gary Schwartz?
I go with 3″ magnum slugs. 1.25oz or 545 grain.
I think something with a little more spread would do. And a half chock too.
I’m not surprised… Drone flyers are out of control.
As for people noting about federal laws against “shooting down a Drone” – not for long. Idiotic drone “pilots” are about to make a lot of what THEY do illegal with their stupidity.
“FAA records detail hundreds of close calls between airplanes and drones”:

So you drone flyers… enjoy your freedom while it lasts. It won’t last long with your behavior.
USA! USA!! USA!!
