If something on the site is broken, confusing, missing, or just annoying enough that you feel the need to complain about it, this is the place.
This section is here for questions, bug reports, account issues, forum problems, feature requests, and general feedback about the DIYP site and forums. If you are having trouble logging in, something looks wrong, a page is behaving oddly, notifications are doing weird things, or you have an idea for how the place could work better, post it here.
This is not a general photography or video help forum. If your question is about cameras, lenses, lighting, editing, shooting techniques, filmmaking, audio, or anything else related to actually making photos or videos, please post it in the appropriate discussion section instead. This section is specifically for help and feedback related to the DIYP site and forums themselves.
Basically, if the issue is with the site itself rather than photography, gear, or editing, it probably belongs in this section.
A couple of things that will make life easier when reporting a problem:
- Say exactly what happened
- Say what you expected to happen instead
- Include the page or section where it happened
- Mention your browser and device if it seems relevant
- If there is an error message, copy it exactly
- Screenshots help when words are not doing the job
If you are posting feedback or a feature request, feel free. Not every suggestion will get implemented, obviously, but it is useful to know what is working, what is not, and what people actually want from the site.
And yes, if something is broken in a spectacularly stupid way, I would still like to know about it.
So, whether you need help with your account, want to report a bug, or just have thoughts on how the forums should evolve, post away.
Again, this is not a general photo/video help section. It is for feedback and support relating specifically to the DIYP site and forums.
