Have you noticed extra-long and weirdly stretched images on your Instagram feed? It looks like some kind of a glitch has appeared, allowing users to post images like this to their followers. Of course, some Instagrammers have made the use of it to draw attention, and if you want to have some fun (or annoy your followers), you can do it too.
According to The Verge, people started to notice the glitch on Wednesday. The same source notes that it only appears to work for iOS. I own an Android phone, I tried it, and indeed – it doesn’t work for Android. Exoidz posted a video explaining how to do it. You need to upload a photo to Simple Image Resizer and use 30 for width and 600 for height. Save the photo, post it to your Instagram, and that’s it.

Facebook’s spokesperson confirmed to The Verge that they’re aware of the Instagram’s glitch, adding that they’re “working quickly to fix the issue.”
I haven’t noticed any of these stretched images on my Instagram feed. What about you?
